Herb Spiced turkey breast with lemon Dijon gravy

Try this heart healthy turkey dinner this holiday season.
Ingredients
  • 1 small boneless skinless turkey breast (about 2 lbs) cut into 8 thin cutlets
  • 2 tbs of Dijon or spicy mustard
  • 3-4 tbs Mrs DASH original blend
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp ground tumeric
  • 2 tbs of olive oil
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Season and coat turkey breast cutlets evenly with cumin, turmeric and Mrs DASH original blend
  2. Heat a large skillet or wok with lid to medium heat
  3. Lightly cover the bottom of your skillet with olive oil. Cook turkey cutlets; cover with lid
  4. Cook until brown and opaque throughout( about 2-3 minutes per side).
  5. Set turkey cutlets aside; do not remove drippings from pan.
  6. Add dijon mustard and lemon juice to the skillet; mixing in drippings; if drippings are low add more lemon juice or more low-sodium broth
  7. Simmer very low until gravy is mixed well.
  8. Pour sauce over warm turkey breasts.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
