Try this heart healthy turkey dinner this holiday season.
Ingredients
1 small boneless skinless turkey breast (about 2 lbs) cut into 8 thin cutlets
2 tbs of Dijon or spicy mustard
3-4 tbs Mrs DASH original blend
1 tsp ground cumin
½ tsp ground tumeric
2 tbs of olive oil
2 tbs lemon juice
Instructions
Season and coat turkey breast cutlets evenly with cumin, turmeric and Mrs DASH original blend
Heat a large skillet or wok with lid to medium heat
Lightly cover the bottom of your skillet with olive oil. Cook turkey cutlets; cover with lid
Cook until brown and opaque throughout( about 2-3 minutes per side).
Set turkey cutlets aside; do not remove drippings from pan.
Add dijon mustard and lemon juice to the skillet; mixing in drippings; if drippings are low add more lemon juice or more low-sodium broth
Simmer very low until gravy is mixed well.
Pour sauce over warm turkey breasts.
Serve hot and enjoy!
