Try this low-sodium heart healthy chicken stir-fry!
Ingredients
2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast strips
½ cup apple cider vinegar
3 cups of fresh or frozen brocoli florets
1 red bell pepper sliced into strips
1 yellow bell pepper sliced into strips
½ red onion diced
1tsp of minced garlic or 2 crushed garlic cloves
2 Tbsp Ms. DASH garlic herb blend seasoning and/or extra spicy blend- season to taste
1 tbsp of berebere - season to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Garnish with diced green onions and 4 slices of lime
Fresh mango salsa-optional
Instructions
Marinate chicken strips in apple cider vinegar, 2 tsp of Ms. DASH seasonings in a large freezer bag for 30 minutes to an hour
After chicken is done marinating, saute'peppers and broccoli in a large lightly oiled- about 1tbsp until tender-crisp. Add a bit of water as needed (very little) to prevent peppers from burning.
Set sauteed peppers and broccoli aside.
Add chicken, onions and garlic to the same pan, and cook until chicken is no longer pink and juice runs clear. Season to taste with berebere spice and Ms. DASH seasonings
Toss the chicken and vegetables together and serve.
Top with sliced green onions for a flavor boost and decadent presentation.

Optional- Toss a spoonful of fresh mango salsa on top for a delicious taste!
