1 scoop cake batter or/graham cracker flavor whey protein powder-**for best results use Muscle Milk brand
¼ c skim milk
1½ Tbsp Hershey's baking cocoa powder
¼ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp vanilla
⅛ tsp butter flavoring
Topping:
1 tsp your choice of (natural peanut butter, sunflower seed butter, or any other nut/seed butter)
Instructions
In a large, microwave-safe mug, add skim milk, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, vanilla, and butter flavoring. Stir with a fork to combine until batter is smooth. Microwave for 45-60 seconds. (While microwaving, make sure you watch the cake, because it expands rapidly and can spill over the sides of the mug!) Top with 1 tsp. nut/seed butter as soon as you remove from microwave. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
*For a more cake-like consistency, you can add ½ Tbsp wheat, oat, or other flour. You may need to add a little more milk if you do this.
