Yvonne Mathis, EMBA, is the Founder & CEO of The Mathis Group, LLC, bringing over 25 years
of expertise in organizational strategy, leadership development, and workplace innovation. She
specializes in enhancing business effectiveness through strategic policy development and
customized solutions that align with organizational goals.
She earned her Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from Youngstown State
University, completing an accelerated program that included an international business and
cultural immersion internship in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Mathis Group, LLC is a consulting and training network comprised of professionals across
business, education, healthcare, and compliance sectors. The firm specializes in leadership
development, business growth strategies, workforce training, and regulatory compliance.
Services include entrepreneurial coaching, workforce development, leadership training, cultural
competence workshops, and workplace policy development and implementation.
Throughout her career, Yvonne has held key leadership roles, including Director of Multicultural
Affairs, Director of the Women in Medicine Program, and Adjunct Faculty at the Northeastern
Ohio Universities College of Medicine & Pharmacy. She has also served as Director of the
Upward Bound Program at Cleveland State University, Adjunct Faculty at Youngstown State
University, and Director of Communications for the Youngstown City School District.
