Homemade Granola

Make your own delicious homemade granola..Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 3 cups rolled oats (name brand oats will make crunchier granola)
- ¼ cup pure pumpkin or apple sauce
- ¼ cup peanut butter
- 2 TBSP honey
- 1 TBSP vanilla extract
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- Add as desired:
- ¼ cup almonds
- ¼ cup raisins
- ¼ cup craisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 F. With fork, combine and stir wet ingredients (pumpkin, peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract and cinnamon). Add 3 cups of rolled oats; mix until oats are moist and mixed well. Place parchment paper onto baking sheet. Spread granola evenly on baking sheet and cook for 10 mins.
- After 10 mins. remove from oven, stir granola and bake for another 10 mins. Cook additional time if necessary. Granola should be baked until a tan or light brown color is achieved, not moist and not burned. Remove and let dry completely.
